Hello everybody. Hope you all have had a good weekend. This week I played Ace Combot 7 for the first time. I have not played any previous Ace Combat games. I realize that I missed my calling in life and should have been a fighter pilot. Hope you all have a good week ahead

Also some modded minecraft (stoneblock 3). Restarted my world a few weeks ago because it had been too long since I played it last and I’ve made some good progress. Trying to get decent storage online even before I have AE2
Alternating between new fire emblem and control resonant. Both are quite good. I have a vacation in a week so I might actually be able to play games then
Friend bought me Wardogs and I am liking it. It’s like battlefield but 100 players and three factions and also has a counterstrike style money system where you earn money for all sorts of actions and have to buy your load out, your money persists between games and servers and so far it’s pretty fun.
Mostly touching grass this weekend, believe it or not. I’m learning archery, which I guess still counts as a game, kinda?
Otherwise, Unnamed Space Idle has the Idle Wizard crossover event on so I’ve been checking in there on the daily or so. That and Wuthering Waves. Gatcha game, but the vibes are cozy and weirdly hopeful.
Finished The Message From Deep Space. Was generally quite good, though some of the answers were so convoluted I’m convinced I never would have gotten them had I not looked them up. Also, weirdly, all the most difficult ones didn’t have any tips from the other NPCs. Still, would recommend.
Started a bit of Baba Is You, got to a puzzle I couldn’t figure out, and haven’t gone back.
A little more DMC5 Vergil, he’s so goddamn overpowered it’s ridiculous. You can just fly up the style rank by doing one or two judgement cuts. I have never once been able to block an attack, though, which is odd, so my concentration meter’s always a little low due to dodging.
New Warframe update is out and it’s dookie, entropic eximus are lame, the drop rates for Narin are too low imo, the changes to EDA/ETA to counter Hildryn/Revenant just mean that the weeks where I use her because I didn’t have any good options will now be weeks I skip, and Glacial Defense requiring 6-person pre-mades means I will never, ever try it.
I had a dream about the old steam controller. So I guess Im gonna check it out again and see how it feels in the year of our Lord 2026

I’ve been playing this kinda boring pokemon clone that just came out called Aniimo but my wife and kids are playing it so I’m grinding it out
I am narrowing in on perfection in stardew valley, really the only thing I have left is to befriend a few of the out of the way NPCs (Sandy, Leo, Dwarf) and getting all the qi gems I need. Qi challenges seem like a huge pain so I’m kinda dreading that. And a few odds and ends that won’t be that bad.
First game i ever 100%ed was Jak and Daxter for the ps2.
My reward was to watch the credits. If there is something designed to hit my ADHD more directly than that i will admit to the existence of the demiurge

Beat up a washing machine and then played karaoke (which led to the deaths of only 2 civilians).
Cool game, but the combat is by far the weakest part, it constantly feels like it’s getting in the way of the lore and exploring the world.
That doesnt sound great though since I assume its a pretty combat heavy game. Right ?
That’s the remedy special. A game that is very angry that it can’t be a tv show.
Played through Graveyard Keeper 2. Had a pretty great time. I loved the original; the game loop felt like crack to me, i couldn’t stop. And the writing was actually pretty good. Unfortunately, GK2 writing wasn’t as good. Also had hints of AI writing, but can’t prove it. The graphics are actually a lot better though, so I liked that. Also, thank god for mods.
How long did you need to finish it? I vaguely remember the first game not being that short.
mods help a lot; i don’t have much time to grind, so i do stuff like exp multipliers and whatnot. it took like 4 days to finish GK2 for me.

Castlevania Bloodlines on Genesis. Used the konami code to get 9 continues instead of the 3-5 I think you can get normally.
Gamer Church Confessional: On three different nights now, I have had a dream about the upcoming Deadlock patch. Absolutely devastating to have an update for a video game get into my psyche like this.

SpringRO beta started not too long ago. New Ragnarok Online server. There’s integration with RetroAchievements where you can get a badge on the site, and some cosmetic rewards in-game for participating in the beta and getting to level 30. Full server launch is soon and will also have achievements sets in-game and on RA for leveling different classes, collecting hats and cards, etc. One of the devs is also a dev for the HorizonXI Final Fantasy 11 server, which is great, so I have high confidence in this one.
There’s been a ton of people who have never played RO checking it out from RetroAchievements and it’s been really fun to help guide them and see their reactions and questions. I’ve played the game on and off since launch (got a disc in the mail even), so I’m not the most knowledgeable, but I feel like a real oldhead. The population has been consistently around 100 players at peak time, so I predict a few hundred on launch when their progress won’t be wiped.
