They got it for like 2 years of war then they started dronestrikes on Russian refineries, so now they are reaping. Not to mention since 2014 Ukraine violated every single ceasefire so there’s no point in next one.
Yeah, can’t really see Russia doing any sort of a ceasefire at this point. And not like you can trust anything Americans agree to either.
ukraine needs to give it up and just surrender already. they aren’t going to win
by continuing to grind up the Ukraine’s young men into hamburger, America can delay having to acknowledge failure for a few months. and isn’t that worth it?

There’s going to be a lot of angry Ukrainians after it’s all said and done. Angry at the wasteland of austerity imposed on them by the west and the shit end of the deal they got for sacrificing so many lives to keep the US happy. I doubt it will really curb the ukrofascist issue (unless Russia really wants to work to that but I feel like they won’t), but I’m sure those types will be heavily armed and prepared to inflict terror elsewhere in Europe in some sort of revenge.
Meanwhile the redditors celebrating the snuff clips from the conflict will have moved onto the next big propaganda piece. It disgusts me.
I think there’s moreso a possibility for a Ukrainian civil war. The fash will try to patch things up with a revanchist rump state to cover up the leeching of natural resources by the imperial core, and the disgruntled proles will want to topple it for a better deal with anyone else.
Feels like a precursor to a Libya, Syria, Somalia, Iraq, where the stability of the successor govt will always remain compromised until the contradictions between the externally-influencing powers are also resolved.
“energy ceasefire” we’re just making shit up now. besides, whilst I understand the rationale Ukraine DID attack Russian energy infrastructure first.
Every time Russia agreed to an energy ceasefire the Kiev Nazis continued to attack Russian energy anyway. There’s only so often any government, even one as liberal and cucked as Putin’s, will fall for the same trick.
Same goes for negotiations. Any respite in the fighting offered for negotiations is just used by the Kiev regime to amass more weapons, forcibly mobilize more people and entrench deeper into cities and other fortifications, and the negotiations go nowhere anyway.
At this point Russia will just keep going until either the regime surrenders or their front line collapses. And as unfortunate as it is for the civilian population, energy strikes are a necessary part of paralyzing Ukrainian logistics. Russia held back for three years but their patience has run out.
stop attacking the infrastructure we use to attack you. in exchange we will continue terrorist attacks on your infrastructure

Russia should say they will do a “zionist-style ceasefire” and then just keep bombing shit
