There’s going to be a lot of angry Ukrainians after it’s all said and done. Angry at the wasteland of austerity imposed on them by the west and the shit end of the deal they got for sacrificing so many lives to keep the US happy. I doubt it will really curb the ukrofascist issue (unless Russia really wants to work to that but I feel like they won’t), but I’m sure those types will be heavily armed and prepared to inflict terror elsewhere in Europe in some sort of revenge.

Meanwhile the redditors celebrating the snuff clips from the conflict will have moved onto the next big propaganda piece. It disgusts me.

      • I think there’s moreso a possibility for a Ukrainian civil war. The fash will try to patch things up with a revanchist rump state to cover up the leeching of natural resources by the imperial core, and the disgruntled proles will want to topple it for a better deal with anyone else.

Feels like a precursor to a Libya, Syria, Somalia, Iraq, where the stability of the successor govt will always remain compromised until the contradictions between the externally-influencing powers are also resolved.
