Chiropractic practioners should genuinely be in prison. 100% of them. Any doctor who has ever referred a patient to one should have their license suspended pending retraining and a possible sentence for aiding and abetting.

bonus reason to hate chiropractors: B.J. Palmer, the second chiropractor and the son of the ‘inventor’, use the family’s swindlings to buy a radio station, and gave Ronald Reagan his first media job there

chiropractors are all the soulless predatory scamming of mediums and psychics but with the fun, risky element of potentially being maimed

    • Agreed. I was referred to one once by a physical therapist. I was sceptical, but went once. They proceeded to talk a lot about some energy type bs, my kidneys being stressed and all sorts of shit. Used one of those muscle hammers on me way too hard and I ended up with a lot more pain.

I was in physical therapy for back pain, due to genuine herniated discs that result from a spinal deformity I was born with. These people are dangerous, people have been paralyzed from the “manipulation”.

    • i think it’s more that it’s not allowed to be sold for human consumption, but selling things for domesticated animal consumption as “feed stock” is about the most permissive standard in the US, basically unregulated. animals in captivity will eat all kinds of crap, especially omnivores. (CW: animal agriculture / gross)

      spoiler

they used to feed ground up chicken parts to chickens, ground up hog parts to hogs, etc… and not even that long ago. generally speaking, a tactic is to feed botched production and byproducts to animals. like food scraps or waste products, etc. for example: if there’s a bout of sickess on a dairy that requires medication which passes into the milk, they’ll still milk the animals to express the milk, but the milk will be isolated and sold to some feed processor OR just taken directly by a person with an animal operation because it’ll be cheap feed.

that’s definitely why they call it a loophole, because no animal farmer would be paying $12/gal for uninspected milk to feed to their hogs when they could go to the store to get pasturized, homogenized milk for like $4/gal. those one-off instances i’m referring to above, like the dairy farmer selling to the hog farmer might be paid the price of transporting the milk + maybe 25 cents a gallon or something, seeing as how an actual dairy processor would only being paying the dairy farmer something like $1.80/gal for chilled liquid milk still fit for human consumption.

that’s kinda why they insist on calling it “pet food” too, because gullible rich people will pay premium bucks to feed their pets absolute garbage-grade feedstock materials if it’s marketed cleverly and convenient.

  • Chris Boman is the guy who pitches raw milk as a panacea AND admins the FB group that suspended the mom after she told her story in the group.

like all other grifters of his type, he has a massive online presence so you can look him up. he also bills himself as a life session strategist (aka life coach) and homestead consultant. none of the 3 primaries in this story (the mom, the goatherd, the chiropractor) come off innocent in this story, but holy shit the chiropractor-life coach-podcaster is a fucking scumbag. he pushes the raw milk onto a client, connects them with a shady goatherd selling uninspected/off label for a fucking toddler, backs the goatherd when shit goes bad, and bans the client from warning others in the group. because, clearly, his real “clients” are the upstream suppliers the cult of saps he’s cultivated on social media.

I visited Boman this January at his office in a Murrieta strip mall where he specializes in pediatric and prenatal chiropractics. I found him leaning on the front desk of his waiting room, wearing a sweatshirt that said “PRAY” across the chest.
