People seeing her go for the drink at the beginning as an escalation is ridiculous. She clearly could not win that tug of war, and the reason she tried to grab it is probably because the guy throws stuff in her face all the time and she tried to preempt it. Both were probably inebriated?
Do we have any context to this? Why is this posted everywhere
edit: Also that shove looks like it caught her head on the corner of the bench, pretty likely she fractured her skull. How anybody thinks its ok for a guy to attempt murder on a woman because she grabbed a drink and maybe attempted to slap him is beyond me.
Context, this was on the second date. There’s some conjecture that that technically was her drink that he took after she broke up with him and she wanted it back based off of the colors of the bottles.
She apparently got more trans accepting in 2014, yk, and that’s apparently enough to get “allies” to jerk it to her. The “lake of shining waters” translation is sort of an embellished/exoticized translation of a type you’ll often see with Indigenous place names: the real meanings of the names are often kind of boring and utilitarian, maybe even offputting, but through some sort of telephone game the translation that sticks around in pop culture is some really poetic-sounding oh-so-close-to-nature thing that looks good on a postcard, something you can image someone with a Hollywood Indian accent saying while accompanied by serene flute music, and then a hawk screeches and thunder roars as the white man is enlightened by the Native’s sage wisdom. Compare and contrast the supposed meanings of “Idaho”, “Minnesota”, and the North Korean word for “hamburger”.
I often feel that Chinese is very flowery with its language, then you read some shit like “Melon City” randomly interspersed into it

Dude even in the UK they can just get free blood tests done and do DIY even if they are against trans health. Thats already far cheaper than the USA, as the blood tests are a very big cost.
