I don’t think I’ve ever laughed at an Israeli joke.
They tell jokes but they aren’t really “jokes” it’s just being mean, cruel, and shitheaded.
It’s chud humor. And a huge part of that population are chuds.
Chuds. They’re too paranoid to relax and you can’t find real humor if you can’t chill out. They also have to win in every hypothetical situation so they can’t self deprecate and shit. There are massive realms of comedy they cannot explore because their egos won’t let them, which is pathetic. Terrible at being comedians. Just god damn awful.
It’s an entire country of the sort of people who find right wing “comedy” funny, just slurs and calls to exterminate the untermensch.
They also do brownface and other absolute racist hack shit. I think I made it through like 30 seconds of that Israeli sketch/SNL show that went viral a while back.
I know it’s pretty common for comedians who complain about “woke” ruining their careers to move to Israel, so I can’t say I’m surprised.

I think Yuri is just saying that the difference is no one in Ireland is using a pager.
And I’m sure people thought that of Lebanon as well, but pager use is pretty prevalent across the globe still. Especially, in Medical and Emergency Services.
Our best hospital had just rolled out an upgrade to their pagers around that time. It’s a US affiliated hospital.
If you think conspiracy nuts are bad enough when they’re being fed by propaganda all day, imagine how much worse they are when their ideas are syncretized with the reality of living under constant surveillance and terrorism campaigns by the entity. People were getting in the way of ambulances and pulling guns out at the airport and shit suspecting them of somehow being in on it.
The hospital like every other hospital was taking victims of this terrorism in with no questions asked. This was also seen by some as a sign of something.
