This joke deserves one of those UK-style everyone has to stop and applaud at the same time responses. Well done.

Official statement from UPS:
OOPSIE WOOPSIE!! Uwu We made a fucky wucky!! A wittle fucko boingo! The logistics lemurs at our headquarters are working VEWY HAWD to fix this!
tee hee ;3
I thought everyone was joking, this shits hilarious as fuck! Military getting so antiquated and privatized it can’t even ship it’s own military secret shit in its own systems and has to rely on private contractors
Oh no, now they’re gonna know how to make fighters that rust immediately on exposure to normal weather and take 2 calendar years to repair
Usually you have to go to the War Thunder forum for this kind of information.
“oh no, I dropped my plane parts for my magnum apex fighter, this is so embarrassing”
“I don’t want this garbage wtf”
It would be funny if this allowed them to help future allies maintain their f-35 collection but ultimately discovered that there was nothing else of value.
this never would have happened with FedEx, according to Tom Hanks’ documentary, Castaway.
What are they doing anywhere close to China anyway? Sydney and Honolulu and Shanghai basically form an equilateral triangle. A flight from Perth to Anchorage still goes nowhere near Hong Kong, and even if it did, the Philippines and Taiwan and the Ryukyu Islands are all far closer.
Is Hong Kong really the overpoweringly most important logistics hub in the Pacific for UPS?
so the us is shipping critical weaponry the same way i return my ten dollar trinkets to amazon? is there anything they haven’t sold to the lowest bidder?
the F35 project was obviously sold to the highest bidder
I’ve had several packages meant for Thailand accidentally routed to Taiwan, so I can totally believe UPS could do this.
One of the parts is the canopy, so not like it’s a small package that got lost among thousands of others. It would be a crate.
