I know these incel creeps dehumanise women to an absurd degree, but how do they expect this thing to even work? Where do all the women come from in this state mandated girlfriend thing? Like, you know they won’t settle for anything less than perfectly white, straight, hollywood good looks type of women, who are all still delicate little virgin flowers but also have the sex skills of a porn star, which I imagine there aren’t really a whole lot of in the US.

And in turn, any woman forced into this state mandated girlfriend policy probably has a very easy out, to just get a boyfriend first and then she can’t be forcibly assigned to one. I imagine almost every woman would probably pick some random relatively decent guy off the street rather than the sort of disgusting sewer surfing CHUD that would sign up for a state mandated girlfriend program. So the logistics of this just doesn’t make sense.

Unless they expect all women to be forcibly separated from their partners are forced into this program, which I don’t imagine any of them would appreciate, nor would their partners, nor their friends and family, or pretty much anyone who isn’t a completely isolated disgusting little incel. There’d be riots in the street, even the regular MAGAs would probably be opposing this.

So the idea that this would somehow make Trump more popular is just so strange. Only the CHUDDiest of CHUDs would actually want to vote for the guy who proposes this, and they’re already voting for Trump anyway, and I imagine most women wouldn’t approve of a program that is basically just gender segregated slavery, and probably wouldn’t vote for him, even white women, since it would actually disproportionately affect them. Not to mention anyone with a conscience, or any of the “fuck you, I’ve got mine” CHUDs who are already in a relationship.

Additionally, I can’t imagine what these guys imagine a relationship entails. Or…maybe I sort of could, but really don’t want to think about it, because it sounds like they imagine less of an “equal partner” and more of a “sex slave who isn’t allowed to disobey me”, which is also just kind of slimey of them to pretend to dance around. I think that’s what disgusts me the most about incels, they’re disgusting and view women solely as objects for their sexual pleasure, but they try to pretend they don’t, they should be more honest about what disgusting scumbags they are, because it’s not like they’re good at hiding it.

The thought experemnt is awful. It is however funny to imagine the power of beurocracy put behind this situation. If you imagine it abstracted without the human horror of it. Like, it would be ice agents and female immigrants so in a generation you would have effectively turned the white identity core of maga into biracial bilingual cadre with a deep seated and valid grudge against the government.

It doesn’t matter to point out hypocrisy but seeing how immediately any of their ideas fall appart with any actual thought is instructive

      Well… you say that.

That kind of dynamic is basically what existed in the antebellum South, and it didn’t exactly get in the way of maintaining white supremacy (racial purity has always been socially contracted anyway). White men raping black slaves was very common, to the point that it was more or less an expectation, at least among the wealthy. This was the twisted logic behind the norm of “women should remain pure, but men should have experience,” which has carried over to the modern day even though it doesn’t make sense without an underclass of sex slaves.

Whether through knowing the history or through following the same logic to the same conclusions, that’s what reactionaries aim to recreate.

I don’t think there’s anything in the image that actually suggests the user means immigrants.

If you take away the idea that it’s migrants it becomes bringing back old school village matchmakers and arranged marriages, but as a national government program.

This is kinda spooky because such matchmaking and arranged marriage culture has worked historically, the only thing here is scaling it up into a national thing and normalising it within culture so that everyone just sees it as how things are. It’s not an impossible concept and that disturbs me quite a bit.

such matchmaking and arranged marriage culture has worked historically

It worked in a very different socioeconomic system (and men had about as much choice as women in choosing their partner). In present-day society it will crash and burn on day 1.

I always thought the whole “state-mandated GF” meme meant that single women would be rounded up and handed out to incels, which isn’t quite the same thing as matchmaking. That, and that it was a meme advocated for only by the fringes of the fringe.

Yeah, there is no indication of how the policy woudl actually be carried out. That is because it has not been thought through that seriously. I am saying it doesn’t bear up to scrutiny in any meaningful way. That is simply the way I feel it could be most easily implemented today and how quickly it would fall appart.

I hate the term “male loneliness epidemic” so fucking much.

You wanna know why you’re lonely? Take a look at yourself. I can assure you, it has everything to do with YOU as a person instead of what “feminism” has supposedly done.

The main problem with the phrase is how it limits the loneliness epidemic to men, though of course it’s unsurprising in a patriarchal society that only men would be considered as the valid victims of a social epidemic.

But we need to be clear here. There is a loneliness epidemic. All genders are effected by it, furthermore the root of the problem is the extreme and increasing social alienation of late stage capitalism, and it’s important that we keep that in mind. While you’re not wrong that the type of people who tend to wail about the “male” loneliness epidemic are usually incel men who think they’re entitled to a partner and blame “feminism” without even the slightest hint of self examination, loneliness in general is rarely if ever the sole fault of the individual, it is a social problem with social causes. So when you or anyone says:

You wanna know why you’re lonely? Take a look at yourself. I can assure you, it has everything to do with YOU as a person

It is a terrible, cruel, and unhelpful thing to say to most genuinely lonely people and it is usually flat out wrong. This widespread immense loneliness has everything to do with a broken, communityless society, diseased by individualist ideology, borne out of capitalism and enforced by the bourgeois ruling class. Don’t discredit the very real problem of widespread loneliness or throw the many lonely victims of it under the bus because a fascist minority has hijacked it and claimed to be the sole sufferers.

I mean it does also have to do with the structural limitations of gendered expression enforced by patriarchy and the general social alienation of capitalist production. This is just expressed through men being very very shitty as individuals.

To be honest men are lonely because men don’t show intimacy with other men. Just in writing this I feel the urge to have to clarify I’m not talking sex because the assumption is that men loving men in any way is sexual in nature. I’ve had so many friends who bottle it all up and are so emotionally broken then treat their girlfriend like an unpaid therapist.

(To be clear I am totally agreeing with you here, you got me thinking is all)

I agree that this is something men lack, and i would add that a lack of third spaces, a tendency towards societal atomization by long work hours, individualist culture, overemphasis of the nuclear family and other consequences of late stage capitalism greatly contribute as well, but when you look at statistics about lonelyness, there is actually very little evidence that men are more likely to be lonely than people of other genders. There is a lonelyness epidemic, but it’s not specifically a male one. In fact, there is a bit of evidence that women are more likely to be lonely, even if you correct for compounding variables (like longer life expectency which means there’s more old women who have outlived their husband than old men who have outlived their wifes).

And i’ve seen articles about the “male lonelyness epidemic” that fully acknowledge all this and then without explanation go on to say that women should show men more affection because they can’t do that with each other, while not adressing female lonelyness at all, or why they think that there’s an obligation of women to do unpaid emotional support labor for men to fix a societal ill. On supposedly leftist news sites. You can’t make this shit up.

In my opinion, the actual reason that there is this entire male lonelyness epidemic discourse is that in our society, men’s feelings are valued more than the feelings of women and people of other genders.

Really good points and I completely agree, loneliness in women is totally ignored when women are not any less lonely. Maybe it is because men are simply so violent in how they act out but I honestly don’t know, I’m just spitballing. It’s hard to really pin down with patriarchal focus and I’m honestly out of my depth to analyze it much further.

And they NEVER blame porky! Porky could admit that he knew rising rents and mass firing everyone would make people lonely, and he doesn’t care he owes white men some level of an easy mode by virtue of porky also mostly being a white man.

Sauce: got to live in a walkable city for like a month and by week two I was hanging out with friends I just met and had real chemistry with this one girl. It should be that easy, but that’s made impossible employers lost their damn minds and want a purple squirrel for everything.

But of course none of them will blame porky for not hiring and keeping 25% of the country functionally unemployed! Good luck dating, let alone having friends in that situation.

here’s an idea that will appeal to both sides: the state mandated girlfriend and state forced feminization bureaus are the same bureau. Every incel who signs up gets randomly assigned to either receive, or be, a girlfriend.

This is an unsurpring result of having a party that has increasingly openly made the ownership and control of women it’s core identity recently; from actual policy to manosphere and ‘values’ shit. Even in a society that successfully manages to reopress women into property, there’s also a huge younger right wing contingent who knows that they’re downwardly mobile and won’t get to share in the spoils of that twisted society without any money or status. But rather than rethink their awful attitude to women they’d rather rethink their awful attitude to the role of the state (in vain).

That’s what baffles me about these sorts of guys, from the causal “always going to Hooters” sort of guy all the way to this level of disgusting incel. They just don’t seem to care whether women are forced to spend time with them or not, possibly because they’ve literally never interacted with a woman who actually wanted to interact with them so they have no frame of reference for what that is like.
