      The beauty of the PNG file format is that you can literally just stuff any data you want in it alongside the actual picture and PNG readers will eat it up, so the dimensions are a red herring.

      People on this site are so credulous these days. What happened?

      Half the posts are the fakest images and most obvious satire I’ve ever seen in my life and everyone (including the OP) seems to be fully convinced it’s real.

        Theres a small group of people who grow up hearing, “dont believe anything you read/see on the internet. Its probably fake.” So we learned how to critically think about the stuff we see, and try to determine if EVERYTHING we see on the internet is real. Thats our natural state of internetting.

        People older than us believe everything they see on facebook and people younger than us believe AI is right.
