Yes. Yes. Unless they are extremely well written. Because sometimes it’s fun. But the cardinal directions exist, if the game has a compass you can tell me “the north door” not “the door from before”
“back through the north door” would be ideal since if you do remember the relative it saves you opening an in-game map
