If anywhere was going to be the Charlie Kirk memorial strip club, it’d be in Gila County. Whoever made this knew what they were doing.
Go up the Rim east on 260 to Show Low and you can visit the Trump Store. Maybe you run into George Takei. Steal some shit from the summer houses there, the cops don’t even bother responding to calls. If you make the drive in the winter there will be flatlanders playing in plow wash like they’ve never seen snow before (good chance they haven’t).
Keep going and you hit Springerville, where there’s a combination gun store and pharmacy with a really nice liquor aisle. Settler-occupied northeastern Arizona is one of the strangest places on earth. o7
What’s extra great is across the street from a church and there’s a feed store behind it. I guess we’re gonna have to do an official HexBear road trip.
If you go to the women’s restroom at the Circle K there on the 260, say hi to my phantom side piece. Bring her a couple gallons of loose unsauced spaghetti as an offering and she’ll whisper my name.
A strip club across the street from a church… doesn’t get any more American than that! Unless it’s next to a gun store/“hunting supply” place, I guess.

Please do this. They’ve been frothing at the mouth about busloads of Antifa showing up for like 10 years now, they’ll never suspect a Corgi with a laptop. And I’m pretty sure dogs don’t pay cover. A lap dance for the dog is extra, though.
I think then you owe Pete a portion of whatever tips you get for the dog sitting in people’s laps, or else there’s some kind of predatory employment contract involved.
Based on a true story

Yeah that seems like a totally classy establishment that isn’t just a front for a biker gang.
Pete’s Place has a 4.9 star rating on Google Maps and is by all accounts one of the better strip clubs in Arizona.
It used to be a steakhouse and Pete never took the cow off the sign out front. It’s been a community institution for like 20 years now.
That’s genuinely so fucking funny, I expected it to be an entirely fake image. The lore is appreciated

I mean, that’s just a typical highway in a small-medium rural town.

They have a really good pizza buffet there, iirc. Surprised to see Star Valley on the bear site.
I am also surprised to see someone who knows about this place.
im not a strip club guy, but i would try to find a couple of guys i trust to go with me to check that place out.
definitely the sort of place where you back into the parking place in case you need a quick getaway.
even if the outside is the craziest thing about it, just walking in the door is a story.
My partner and I will go with you just for the story. We’ll bring the dogs. I’m sure they’ll allow dogs into the club without a cover.

If the pup jumps on peoples laps, does the dog get paid?

i’ve only seen movies but i think the protocol is to slide a dollar under the dog’s collar
