I’m afraid you have committed a Validargumentism
Watched a video that essentially said, “they’re going to call you a communist anyway so you may as well just be a communist” and one of the replies was “this is an argument fascists use”
Liberals are so hopelessly lost in the notion that EVERYTHING must be debated in an unbiased manner, and it poisons everything.
The ideas ‘People shouldn’t die of preventable causes and everyone should have their basic needs met’ and ‘All non-white people should be fed into a woodchipper, and all but the richest 1% should live like peasantry in the 10th century’ are both concepts which merit some debate to them, which accords the latter notion credence it never deserved while also undeservedly equating the former with the latter.
I think it’s not that simple. Nobody who actually holds that opinion will explicitly state “all non-white should be fed into the wood-chipper…etc”. If those who hold that belief were always honest about it, it wouldn’t be that bad. They always pretend to hold humanist positions and actually be decent people. The devilish agenda is always hedged and veiled with lies and distortions

I mean, you very proudly support the invaders of Iraq and Afghanistan, and publicly oppose the states that resist them.

You very obviously support a state that has invaded at the very least Iraq, Syria, and Mali. That state being the Ukrainian state, one of the de facto subjects of the most prolific invader in the world. You even call things “Russian propaganda” with the implication that it is false when it contradicts what the invaders of Iraq and Afghanistan tell you to believe about their designated enemies.
On that note, I do want to ask, what do you think a state should do when the most prolific invader in the world tries to amass weapons and military personnel on its borders, especially after attempting and/or completing coups d’etat against neighbouring states?

I guess “if you say vaguely bigoted shit people will call you fash so you may as well go full Nazi” and “if you say vaguely left shit people will call you a tankie so you may as well go communist” are technically the same form of argument but there does seem to be some kind of difference, wonder if I can put my finger on exactly what…
The difference is fascism is harmful pseudoscience while communism is a real political science rooted in solid theory
