I’m not sure if there’s a better title for this series, but basically I’ll be sharing unlicensed games that have political messaging relevant to the time the game was made. I was originally going to focus on console games but there’s exactly one old Windows game I wanted to include so whatever.

Terrifying 9.11 is a bootleg Game Boy Color game developed by Ruanxin (based out of Fuzhou, China) and released sometime 2002 (or possibly end of 2001). The game opens with a video montage of the planes hitting the twin towers while a chiptune rendition of Shir LaShalom plays. Pressing start brings up a little story crawl about 9/11 and the plan to send super soldiers into Afghanistan. Pressing start again opens a map screen and again into an exchange between Bush and Bin Laden. And then finally… Metal Slug. It’s a Metal Slug port. A surprisingly decent one!

How to soft launch girlmoding to my friends
God do I even wanna girl mode around them. I don’t want to boymode either. I want it to be cold and wear hoodies and shit
Bit woke but I heard that people of all genders are allowed to wear hoodies now.
More practically, maybe you can start pushing your wardrobe a bit more fem? Start switching out individual “mens” articles for equivalent “womens” or “unisex” (quotes because all clothes are, in fact, unisex). Start wearing a little makeup if you like and get your hair looking really good? YouTube tutorials will help you. A pronoun badge might be helpful during the transition period.
I think you should just tell them you’re trans and just do it. If they’re really your friends it will be like nothing happened
They already know I’m trans. They aren’t the most supportive. Not like I have anyone else though.
Then just do it, really. If they don’t respect you, then they don’t deserve you
Probably just do it. Put on the clothes and go do something with your friends.
Wear a simple T and let your boobs slowly become prominent. Pull your pants up to your belly and tuck the T in to emphasise the feminine aspects of your figure.
A coat with an elastic waist thing can further help.
Basically, you can use simple tricks to feminise your outfits in a slow way to make yourself more comfortable around your friends and make the transition less jarring.
As for the psychological part of girlmoding? Drink alcohol.
