Apparently it’s the last chapter that is going to be light hearted. I’m going to be sad if that’s the case because the silliness is the only reason I play it

    It’s a coming of age story where a bunch of queer kids from a small town in New England get their character growth and they just happen to all be traumatized af

    And the adult characters are even more traumatized! Yay!

    That’s what I like about it. It’s got the teen drama small town stuff for the younger players, yet it’s got a lot of stuff someone my age can find interesting too: it’s straight up a love letter to the Mother series for example and it’s humor is very early internet.
