Apparently it’s the last chapter that is going to be light hearted. I’m going to be sad if that’s the case because the silliness is the only reason I play it

Toby I’m begging you I don’t give a damn about prophecies and missing raindeer I just want to see goofy darkners act like weirdos

The way Toby talks about this chapter makes me think it’ll be like chapter 3 where there’s very clearly something darker happening with all the goofy stuff and then things start getting real at the end.

    As for the prophecy stuff

Tone-wise, Chapter 3 had the right amount of silly to dark ratio in my opinion. And for a supposedly ‘not important to the story’ chapter, it fleshed out what darkners are a little more and set up Ralseis lack of self worth thing.

Plus it gave us Rouxls Kaard with a laser pointer and the worlds most crustiestly animated TV

      tenna-cabbage all-my-worms-gone

The only problem I have with chapter 3 is that the 8-bit sections were kind of boring (but I guess that was the point)

I loved the rhythm game and the actual boss battle with Tenna was amazing and I’m still surprised that so many quick transitions in a battle were possible with Gamemaker Software
