Today we celebrate the anniversary of the death by neck spasm of youtuber Charlie Kirk, he was an annoying podcaster who spread his reactionary and haterful ideology everywhere he went and just like like any other hateful person who dies no one cared he kirk the bullet (even his own wife decided to monetice his funeral ever since) and even his friends forgot about him or fought over his viewerbase, now days he lives on as permanent stain on the datacenter of every ai model since people made so many memes of him that now ai by default adds him to pictures

Financial Support to the Bearsite
It used to be someone might miss a word or something in your post, but their wrong response after that would at least follow. Now, people aren’t even reading the post - just imagining it - and then just saying random words after that that still don’t really follow.
Nothing like typing a multi-paragraph response to something expanding on the nuance of a situation and then people seemingly ignore all but the idea of what they thought the post would be and then respond to that. but then you read their response and it’s repeat of one of the points i made like it’s something new or didn’t bring up. sometimes they even repeat the conclusion of my own post to me like i didn’t just build a logical argument building up to it lol. and there’s nothing you can really respond with other than “yeah, i just said that” which makes you sound like a dick, even though they’re the ones not actually adding anything to the discussion.
specifically rddit is the worst for this, some of the comments legit are AI generated now. Sometimes i search for things and find reddit threads from 5 years ago and the quality of discussion is actually interesting to read compared to slop from the past few years, despite being on rddit dot com. Dead internet starts with dead and artificial brains i guess.
