I have PMOS and always have had a problem with excessive body hair and I am so sick of it
All I can think of is laser hair removal clinics but those are expensive. Has anyone found a solution that won’t make me broke/give me cancer?
If your hair is dark your best option is going to a laser hair removal clinic. If you haven’t already, compare prices at several of them - I got a quote at one that was three times as expensive as where I’ve been going. Groupon is also a good way to find a clinic.
I saw the Tria laser mentioned in another comment, but if you want to remove hair from a large area of your body I think it is a bad choice because of how slow it is, and because it’s not as powerful as the laser in a clinic.
If you can’t afford laser hair removal at a clinic, your best bet for removing body hair might be waxing. It’s pretty cheap, especially if you do it yourself.
Is it possible to make a stencil and laser a batman symbol over my pubes? Asking for a friend
I also wish to know for purely scientific reasons
wonder what @410757864530_dead_follicles@hexbear.net is up to
“Experimental” is definitely an applicable word, but this is what I immediately though of. Cheap and at least theoretically safe. You’ll need to do some minor electronics to make a functional version of their latest designs though.
Sigh, I really gotta get on building a Sphynx.
when will be the ideal time to declare “look upon my works ye mighty”; after building the Sphynx or after using it?
Depends on if I survive the first use
I’m in the same situation, but from a different intersex condition.

On the highest setting, 5, this thing actually works. It’s essentially the same thing they use at a laser removal clinic. It’ll thin things out substantially but there will likely be a number of pesky hairs that come back. It’s worth getting your own device instead of going to professional sessions.
Maybe try a professional (or professional-ish) one if you can get a Groupon or something first, just to give it a try and see if it’s something you want to continue to do.
Holy shit does it hurt. The tria is like 3/4 as powerful as the one they used in a few sessions I did with a dermatologist but it still hurts like hell.
Thank you and BRING ON THE PAAAAAIN

Idk about the hair, but just FYI, they changed the name of PCOS to PMOS because it defines the diagnosis with more clarity so it’s seen as a whole body issue, and not treated as simply a gynecological issue.
Good to know! I’ll correct that
