    I’m with you and would add that if they start blasting us (let’s say figuratively for now, ideally not literally), then a lot of people are gonna feel cornered and jump to a revolutionary tendency.

    It’s one of the contradictions of DemSoc thinking (I have multiple frames of mind and this is just one of them), but if the DemSoc movement is successful in its aims does that rule out revolutionary activity? Does an alternative path to building socialism exist that doesnt require a revolution? Idk

    if America came under the control of even a super half-ass demsoc regime, it would probably (probably) be much less willing to kill leftists in other countries than Democrats or Republicans. This can give a ton of breathing room to people worldwide
