Eh, most people are pretty alright depending

Lotta people in my town who are just as disaffected as anywhere else and willing to listen to someone who can help things get better

Doing charity work and working with the local organizations has also helped me deal with a lot of the unceasing dread I used to experience

Flyering made me go home, curl up in a ball, and sit in silence my first time. It has gotten better but I was not made for this life lol.

I’ve been volunteering at booths for various things a lot recently and I feel like I’m killing it in the moment, but everything leading up to it and after is complete dread lol. I really have to will myself like “do I really want to talk to anywhere from 10 - 100 people today? Half of them maybe being kids?”

It’s part social anxiety, part fear of confrontation, and part questioning whether what I’m doing is working because there’s no real follow up in a lot of cases and you’re just hoping at the least they have a bare minimum change in belief or behavior if not become a future volunteer.
