My chicks are about 4 weeks old now and quickly entering awkward teenage phase. Will hopefully transitioning them to their coop in a few more weeks.

Also a group I help started for local needs is still going strong despite my not being there really the last few months cause of health and now surgery recovery. They are good people and I’m hoping we can build a strong base to get things moving in the right direction for more collapse shit happening. It’s honestly been very up lifting the amount of people who have reached out to provide resources or help in some way or another. I think regardless of what happens our area will be able to respond.

I think it depends on a lot of factors. What’s your government like? What is the authority trying to accomplish? What are penalties? Are there penalties? Is it somehow getting in the way of human experience (street food). Is this being used only as a weapon for the ruling class to attack the marginalized? Is it actually accomplishing anything that is deem worth while for the public good? Is there research being done to make sure this is providing a public good? Etc

Sitting recovering from my surgery. I can already tell it has made a difference.

When i was growing up my mom had this tiny Nissan truck. That thing survived a lot. I would learn stick to drive this tiny thing. It looked like a hot wheel going through a enlargement portal or something.

I think she hit 2 deer with that one. It probably could of been fix but of course they didn’t.

It really doesn’t do shit outside of local shit like levys or laws. But even then you are probably putting in a lot of effort to keep something going correctly then making anything better.

We had to do this to save our local parks and libraries. Was about a two year affair. And all we accomplished was keeping what we had. Important of course but it shouldn’t of been a problem and honestly the fuckers trying to do it should of been given a nastier treatment. Would of saved a lot of time and heartache.

That’s great! I’ve been trying little by little to get our yard going. Thankfully just from now mowing we get a lot of aster and goldenrod in the fall.

I also was lucky and found some milkweed at the mothman festival growing on the side of the road. I took a pod and planted it around the yard. Hoping these come up. Least I know where to get them next time. It certainly got cold enough this year for cold stratification.

I have been banging the drum about a transportation crisis in America. This was before the war. My timing was wrong and it’s actually going to be much worse much faster then I thought.

Its the most dangerous on the roads its ever been. I have to drive from one side of the country to Oklahoma about once a year. And I just wish we had fucking trains for that.

There is almost always a wrecked semi on the road anymore. Hell we were just going to the bigger city for some shit and there was a semi literally smoking the road out cause something was on fire. Dude didn’t even know. We had to roll our windows down and point to the back of his truck.

I got my microphone degree right when COVID hit. Not only could I not get a job ironically, but I got to try and explain to people who wouldn’t listen about the ramifications of COVID in the future.

I don’t think anyone in WV is actually surprised. WV has been fucked by the government since the start. Most people who trust the goverment at all in WV are considered fools.
