When MTG is the voice of reason in that party recently. You know something is wrong.

She legitimately the only person I can believe wasn’t connected to Epstein. And she’s too stupid to realize that a real investigation leads to Trump and her in denial doing a 180.

I’m watching her with popcorn in hand.

    They won’t release it.

Because if they release a list with only Dem names on it, surely there will be a former Biden Admin official with a copy of the full unredacted list, and they could just release that as retaliation.

Neither party would want to release it, because its M.A.D. at this point.

Do it now and no one gets held accountable.

Do it after republicans start prosecution of the Dems and it becomes much harder to bury the whole thing.

Plus, it gets rid of a shit ton of problematic Dems. If they were raping kids with Epstein, they’re also doing way worse shit to prevent that from coming out.

That was the whole point, accumulate dirt, then blackmail.

In 2026 only one party will be able to say zero incumbents were named in the Epstein list, and every republican incumbent has to defend not holding their peers accountable, or even personally being on the list themselves.

Assuming that is that they merely remove themselves from the list and leave whatever dems are on in. If theyre willing to edit the thing to remove themselves however, can they be trusted to not add people they particularly dont like, or remove any dems on the list that they are concerned might out the rest of the list if prosecuted?

Why would they be held accountable? Republicans will just claim the names are a targeted attack as a last ditch effort by the Dems fabricated and paid for or some shit and then point to their own doctored documents as proof.

Because if Dems can legitimately clear the very low bar of “no one here was in the Epstein list” we’re likely to get enough seats that it literally doesn’t matter what Republicans claim.

1/3 of the country doesn’t vote, this would get a significant amount more to vote.

Couple that with the DNC changes, primarily reinvesting in state parties…

And this is the most optimistic I’ve ever been about America long term.

But the next 1-3 years are going to be pretty close to the worst.

          Gotta find the silver linings.

That’s my point, the people legitimately on it that are prosecuted because trump doesn’t like them, are still being prosecuted and removed not just from the party but the all of society if they’re jailed.

You’re looking it as the politicians are the party. I’m talking about it like the voters are the party. And we’re better off without the child rapists hanging around us making ng us look bad.

Dude they are never releasing the full files. This is all just a fucking tease and while they’re busy pretending to be bringing the hammer of justice down all the pedophiles they just chose to protect (once again) are casually helping set up and cement the authoritarian regime in cities across America.

Like when we reach the point that there is military patrolling every major city, elections are cancelled indefinitely for our own good, and they feel safe enough to just admit they’re not releasing anything else, what do we even do?

This is like somebody who you caught robbing you, then giving you some of your stuff back to get you to shut up and not draw so much attention. Then reassuring you that you’ll get the back rest soon, they just didn’t feel comfortable giving it all back to you yet? What possible reason would you have to trust or believe that they’ll do anything once the heat and focus has died down enough?

Disagree. The list will be shorter, but it’s not necessarily a short list. Being a Democrat doesn’t stop someone from being a PoS.

A few years ago someone posted a list of reported sex crimes by politically affiliated people. It was about 60/40 Republicans.

It wouldn’t surprise me if this is at least partially true, but James O’Keefe has exactly zero credibility. He has made it his life’s work to produce poorly-made works of fiction, and he has the audacity to call it investigative reporting.

Still, giving Republicans the benefit of the doubt on, well, anything feels deeply immoral.

The worst person you know is still a person. I posted another story about Thomas Massie accusing a Billionaire GOP mega donor of being on Epsteins client list.

This is a big deal. GOP congressman from Kentucky, calling out HIS OWN BIG MONEY DONOR, and as far as I can tell he is standing alone on the republican side trying to get Epstein stuff public. I don’t like the guy, but I can believe this endeavor is moral.

My concern is that neither side has released a list because its going to be insanely ugly. Like the most powerful people in the US…and the fallout is going to be anarchy.

I have to believe that Biden’s team looked at what the fallout would look like, and their reaction was “Oh…my…god. What they did was fuckjng horrific, but the country will literally implode if we release this.”

I’m all for releasing it, we need a bit of a hard reset/wake up call.

Yeah, sure. Anarchy. Let’s say everybody Epstein ever hung out with is rounded up and executed. Even if that does mean that 95% of US billionaires are executed, you think that’s going to result in anarchy? It’s just going to finally give a chance to people who aren’t rich. The only possible “anarchy” would be from these rich people refusing to go quietly. But, the rich never go quietly. They’d refuse to go quietly if it was a 2% wealth tax, and not an execution.

Also, don’t forget that after his first arrest, Epstein was more or less radioactive. That was in 2008, 17 years ago. Prince Andrew did meet with him in 2010 and it was a huge news story because he obviously should have known better.

So, let’s say that anybody who was 18 or younger in 2008 is safe from suspicion. Anybody younger than 18 in 2008 was possibly a victim, but was presumably too young to be preying on these underage girls. How old are those 18 year olds now? They’re 35. They’re old enough to run for president in 2028.

I say fuck the gerontocracy. The only people who are 100% above suspicion are the ones too young to have been involved with Epstein. Let them run things.

Releasing the list is damage control.

The Epstein list is really just a focusing lens of much greater rage at billionaires and the elites that cover for them. They either throw some meat to satiate the wolves at their door or the wolves will want to come for them all. Americans are too American to admit their rage is all really about wealth inequality.

I wish that were true, but it isn’t. A majority of Americans are too propagandized to be mad at the rich. They believe in capitalism deep in their souls, because schools have been teaching that capitalism is the best system in the world since at least the end of WWII, never mind that the US isn’t even a true capitalist state.

A majority of Americans believe capitalism is a meritocracy, and that everybody who wins at capitalism is a superior person who got there on their own merits, because that’s what they’ve been taught their entire lives. Fortunately or unfortunately, a large minority of Americans have also been completely failed by their education system and their news system, so they have all kinds of other magical beliefs, like that there’s a cabal of rich and powerful who are draining children of adrenochrome. It’s a really stupid conspiracy theory, but it just happens to end up pointing them at the right targets for the wrong reasons.

I’m going to make a prediction if they are going to release a list of some sort with names on it:

    1. They will redact names by using black highlight using computer software and then destroying the underlying text information by printing it out and scanning it, or something similar. This would prevent the most obvious form of getting around the redaction (which is extracting text information from underneath the highlight).
    2. They will make the rookie mistake of using a proportional font like Times New Roman for the names, which is a font wherein each letter has a different length, instead of a monospace font like this one where all characters are the same width.
    3. An investigative journalist will notice that one of the redacted names is exactly the same length as “DONALD JOHN TRUMP” typed in the document’s font, and then applied black highlight over it.

Hopefully they leave in all the black redactions and not just delete them.

That way we can see how many republicans were redacted.

However I fear they’re also fabricating and just adding as many enemies they need to it for a large night of long knives. Like their version of Project Insight.
