Lol. If you haven’t tried I, you really should. It’s like an Enemy Within Demake, with all of the same features and better strategy. You can get an Alien Grenade Launcher that allows you to strategically control the route of the grenade. It allows for absolutely bonkers strategies like blowing a hole in the top of an alien battleship, guiding a grenade in blind to the enemy command structure, and then dropping in afterwards like some sort of Hi-Tech Psionic SWAT Team. Makes the entire enemy team panic. And makes for easy clean up.

Absolutely loved that game.

Edit: I think Xenonauts 2 is supposed to be pretty similar.

XCOM: UFO Defense (1994)

It’s by far the best version of XCOM. I mean. The graphics are as great, but it has all of the same features as the modern version (not joking), and I think the strategy is by far better. You can also have your own base that you have to defend.

I was this way. I don’t go crazy with rent, but I’ve been taking advantage of by EVERY SINGLE TENANT I’ve ever had. They couldn’t pay one month? That’s fine. I understand things are hard, just get back to me later the next month. They haven’t paid after 3 months? Here’s a rental assistance program, I’ll help you apply to whatever you need. Okay. You haven’t paid or tried to pay in 6 months now, nor have you returned by phone calls, I’m going to have to send you a notice of default and evict you. Okay. Now I’m a scumlord, I guess. And now they clogged all the pipes. Broken every dry wall panel and window, poured antifreeze into my well, and caused significant water damage throughout the house because I’m the bad guy. Cool.

Another tenant turned the house into a drug den. Another became addicted to opiates after a back injury and lost his job, and stopped paying rent because he needed it for more drugs.

Like. I get it, no one likes landlords, but my God. Everyone thinks they are entitled to treat your home however they want, and then are shocked when your upset that they don’t uphold their end of the bargain or take care of the house.

Because we all know STEM fields aren’t already white-male dominated. Making it more hostile for women and minorities will reduce the amount of people that even want to get into the field, thus reducing actual talent. Studies also show that diverse groups tend to problem-solve better than homogeneous ones as they tend to consider a wider array of possibilities and avoid groupthink.

Learning how to engage and socialize with people of both sexes is a necessary skill. As long as your not being a toxic mess in front of them, you’re fine.
