Eh, 99/100 the sponsored section is really easy to skip past, and I’ve used my friend’s Sponsorblocked YouTube a few times and sometimes it fucks up the edit in weird ways. Plus sometimes the sponsored section is actually funny, like it’s clear Alex and Alexia didn’t give a shit about this sponsor and I got a chuckle out of it.

By all means use it if you want by I usually just scrub ahead in the timeline.

It’s completely crowdsourced, if you notice a weird edit you can just fix it. Those are rare though in my experience

This is basically their only sponsor. It’s always odoo. It always confuses me. What is odoo getting out of this? It can’t be that such a good portion of the audience is petty bourgeois 😆

From what I’ve heard, a lot of these companies semi-automate their sponsorship programs to the point you can just have random assholes with basically no followers getting sponsorship deals, cuz actual humans very rarely review the sponsor segments.

Me and my buddy once thought it would be fun to see if we could start a fake podcast, never actually record an episode, and see if we couldn’t get sponsors for it. We never did but I wouldn’t be surprised if we could have at least gotten once of those shady sports betting sites to sponsor us.
