Letting Trump get away with things is the entire reason we’re here. His second Administration would have been totally prevented if he was actually punished for doing a literal coup attempt. If people set up to Trump earlier he might not have even been elected the first time. Joe Biden has so little problems over the guy he just defeated and then hands it overpower to it’s kind of amazing. It kind of feels like we’re in Trump’s third term

Nobody should be deported their “legality” shouldn’t matter. Nobody is illegal.
Who said they should be deported? And if they are indeed commiting an illegal act under the written law, why shouldn’t they be subject to any consequences for breaking said law?
I don’t agree with authoritarianism, but I won’t defend lawlessness either. These extreme and radical stances from either party are why the US is where it currently is.
I cast my doubt over the the very foundation of the act of imprisoning these people, not if they’re innocent or not. Because without due process everyone is guilty until proven otherwise - and even then not really. I think you missed my entire point.

It’s famous for its mega-churches and hosts the headquarters of the extreme right-wing group “Focus on the Family”. Their mayor recently said that people could report anyone they suspected of being an illegal immigrant and the city would investigate it.
