During a conversation with George Lucas at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, the 'Star Wars' creator addressed some longstanding criticisms of his franchise for a perceived lack of diversity in its cast. 'They would say, ‘It’s all white men.' Most of the people are aliens!' he noted.

      What about the animated spinoff about the 3rd backup targeting officer on a non-capital Empire refueling ship?

      Yeah a lot of us stopped caring a long time ago. The market has been saturated with Star Wars.

          They did a new Star Was Holiday special and I was pretty sad when they didn’t lean into the awfulness of the original
