No prob, for context if im not mistaken Khamenei was killed in a missile strike of some kind that also killed his granddaughter as collateral damage. His martyrdom only reinforced the desires of Iran to preserve their sovereignty against American intervention, and he had even been the one previously advocating against the use of nuclear weapons by Iran. That issue became much more hotly debated after his assassination i believe.
I think you’ll find the far right won 100 senate seats in the US midterms so this might not be as true as it seems.
