tl;dr: chris o’neill is accused in a post from september 25th 2026 of a direct improper relationship in 2014 with his ex-girlfriend who was a minor at the time, leading to sexual conduct (‘meeting him at a hotel when i was 17’), then later beginning a pattern of manipulative behavior to hide this fact (as a consequence of it being a crime that he understood would destroy his career)

    EDIT: this was a hipfire that landed in my foot. Zach Hadel is the guy behind Smiling Friends, and was a guest host on the OneyPlays letsplay channel multiple times.

    here is O’Neill’s relation to Smiling Friends, per wiki:

    In 2020, O’Neill collaborated again with Hadel when he and animator Michael Cusack created the Adult Swim animated show Smiling Friends. O’Neill created the ending credit music for the pilot episode of the series as well as providing 3D modeling and animation.[16] He later also voiced some minor background characters when Smiling Friends was picked up for a full season.[17]
