Israel’s Jewish supremacist political parties are growing in popularity among young, first-time voters ahead of this month’s Knesset elections, according to a poll published by Ynet on 9 October.
It found that National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir’s Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) party received the support of 8.88 percent of these voters, equivalent to 15 Knesset seats.
Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich’s Religious Zionism party enjoys the support of 8.09 percent of young voters, the equivalent of 14 seats.
If only young, first-time voters participated in the election, the two parties combined would win roughly 19 percent of the vote, or 29 Knesset seats.

What’s the difference, one side says “bomb all Palestinians” and the other says “just resettle Palestinians elsewhere”?
Idealistically there’s a distinction between nihilist and supremacist approaches to colonialism. Materialistically it’s the same thing
Genuinely what is the distinction? Which Hebrew parties don’t fall under this category?
This is what I want to know. I guess these are just extremist parties because the media is run by the party in charge and they have to badmouth them and can’t exactly call them left wing loonies and make that stick.
I really don’t think the average Israeli voter will be put off by this.
I recall the WSTHKYASYLAKYC party would count, that is the “We’ll say thank you after stealing your land and killing your children” party.
But the Anarchists and DemSocs will call you antisemitic if you call Zionism a ‘Jewish Supremacist ideology’.
There is one moderate liberal zionist who says “we are disappointed in some of the tragic mistakes made by Israel and we support the right of Palestinians to eventually have partial self-determination in a tiny little Bantustan” while he’s obviously trying not to laugh and because of him, calling zionism racist and supremacist is actually antisemitic.
