Google now routes many search result links through google.com/goto redirects instead of exposing destination URLs directly. The change aims to hinder scrapers and AI data collectors. Most SEO tools have adapted by resolving the final address from redirect headers, yet the move reduces transparency for analysts and alters long-standing workflows.
