Something in what you said just made it click why it is so hard to argue with liberals.
I provide actual reasoning and facts and explanations as to why their beliefs are wrong. And they can moralize about the mode in which I express that and then just declare things as “legitimate”, " law", “terrorist”, etc
And it’s easy for them to fall into that pattern when the grand majority of (western) popular culture and politics operate that way. Liberalism is the default, treated almost like a natural constant. As much as I despise marvel slop they are dominant in western culture and so a great example. Like half the villains have a legitimate grievance that they address in a direct manner (though in a mustache-twirling evil way) that the “hero” stops because the status quo is obviously correct and the villian is obviously wrong for trying to change anything.

And pop culture made sure to push Black Panther (again what a name for a reactionary figure) as the aspirations black representation. Keep fighting to keep that status quo tho
