I really don’t understand why he would invite Macklemore as his opener if he has fully developed zionist views. I genuinely believe he has been so detached from regular people that he views the genocide through the reactions of his rich friends and doesn’t like it that his friends don’t get along and finds both sides unreasonable because they’re not open to considering each other’s perspectives.
I don’t think he has. He didn’t care when Macklemore did his thing until Robert Kraft gave him that ultimatum.
My read on the guy is that he’s wholly uninformed when it comes to politics. Off the top of my head I can’t think of any Sheeran songs that touch on any kind of systemic issue or anything like that, of which even Taylor Swift has several. He’ll hold the Ukrainian flag if his PR team tells him to but otherwise he’s privileged enough not to have to care. His politics are basically
I agree, and it perfectly highlights that being “centrist” or “apolitical” in effect means you’ll always end up siding with the status quo and are fully complicit in all the violence that comes with that. This isn’t the committed zionism we see from somebody like, say, Boy George, but it has the exact same effect in practice. It is functionally identical if you actively voice support for genocide or passively accept it.
He’ll write a song about getting cancelled and free speech and we’ll say the same shit we’ve always said - I wish it fucking worked, please shut the fuck up.

Aka a liberal Zionist
Yes he is, but I don’t think he understands what that means so he wouldn’t be able to express that in any other way than his terrible statement
He can express it using a song
step away from the lathe right now
He’ll write a song about getting cancelled and free speech and we’ll say the same shit we’ve always said - I wish it fucking worked, please shut the fuck up.
No, his new song will also be spineless, he’ll go ouah ouah ouah then say something
