There might be some sort of community organizing in your area, whether it’s a self help group or a casual get together. Maybe there is a local trans discord. If you have any queer community outreach spaces, they’re a good place to start. Otherwise, you could contact people through services offering gender affirming care like planed parenthood. I found a local trans meetup because they had flyers at my speech therapist’s office. From my experience, self defense classes for trans people can become fairly popular because it can be scary out there. Once you manage to reach out to people and they find you to be ok, they will probably bring friends. We tend to stick together.

No radar, no lidar, no microwave or ultrasound sensors.

Ooof. OK this is really fucking draining for me to explain but what I mean by this is that it would not be an option for me to pay out of pocket to see a psychiatrist every time I need a new prescription. I could maybe afford that once, but not every 3 months or so.

It’s not as if buying much more recreational stimulants than methylphenidate on the black market is particularly hard or expensive, it’s not as if there are more recreational stimulant users than people with ADHD either. And paying a psychiatrist every time you fill a script on top of paying full pharmacy prices for your medication isn’t cheap either. IDK how much you pay for speed nowadays, but back when i used to be a little rave kid a gram set you back about 5€. The idea that it’s a meaningful problem that people go to a doctor to tweak is laughable.

The reality in the European public healthcare system is that it is incredibly draining and time consuming to get medicated for ADHD, i’ve been trying for almost a year now, i’m completely at my wit’s end because i just can’t afford to pay out of pocket every time i run out of meds and i seriously do not know how to handle this shit any longer. I’Ve wasted half a year at some shithouse of a clinic that kept making up new requirements to get a script until i asked my asshole of a doctor what she would come up with next instead of actually treating me and then she referred me to case management so they could dump me. Yes, in spite of having a confirmed diagnosis that i had to see two therapists for to make extra extra sure i am not faking it.

Well, i should have been more specific given that gay men seem a lot more normal about all the monsterfucking and other fantastic stuff, plenty of furries there.
