    Great analogy to Disney, they’re the two big family friendly IP cartels. Once Disney discovered the money printing remake cheat code it makes sense Nintendo would follow. It’s also extremely evident since they released the switch 2 (essentially the same thing as switch 1 but more power) that they’ve become creatively bankrupt. It’s sad, Nintendo made its reputation on trying new weird things even if many were gimmicks. Now they’re going to skate by on their IP alone until it busts like people getting sick of the superhero slop.

        Theres been quite a few high profile flops in the past decade: supergirl, the flash, the marvels, dark phoenix, joker 2, antman 2, Shazam 2, wonder woman 2, green lantern, Captain America: Brave New World, eternals, justice league, suicide squad 2
