      Does this count?

The Chinese cars we get here in Europe aren’t identical to the same models sold on their home market. They feature numerous modifications to make them comply with European regulations, so it’s likely only these Euro-spec cars that excel in the safety department.

angery The perfidious Chinese tricked us by making the cars safer.

        Or:

These Chinese cars are only good because of our big brained eu-cool regulations

I’d really like to know what goes into these safety scores. I watched the videos for a few of them, and there’s little visual difference between the Vulnerable Pedestrian and Driver Assist categories for any of the top performers. Yet the Chinese manufacturers all rate 5 to 10% lower? What’s the criteria?

So it kinda blows me away that it still rates the Tesla Explosion Machine Model 3 so highly, despite its objectively worse performance in passenger safety. I at least know the passenger safety is measured by readings from those impact dummies.

Teslas used to be super safe. When i watched the videos of the tests, a lot of them were tests if the car tipped over sliding in sand and stuff like that. Well no shit the car doesn’t flip over where there are a ton of batteries on the bottom of the car.
