What annoys me about this clip is that it creates a false dichotomy. Gall-Peters isn’t the only alternative to Mercator, and frankly it isn’t even an especially good one.
I’d say Kavrayskiy VII because , but since that’s not a realistic possibility, I’d settle for the similar Robinson or Winkel-Tripel.
