Look at this monstrosity New Zealand pumped out during World War II. Built in case of Japanese invasion, the tank was made by slapping corrugated iron on a tractor and calling it a day. The Japanese tanks were hardly great, but a Ha-Go is infinitely better than this. Nonetheless, I love it for its shittiness.

I would like to defend the Bob Semple tank, if fascist action means you can’t get your armoured vehicle needs fulfilled via legitimate ArmsCare Providers, it’s perfectly acceptable to use DIY tank production.
Good point, and there are examples of improvised armored vehicles being used in action, particularly during the nazi invasion of the Soviet Union. Around 60 examples of “NI” tanks (converted tractors) were built during the defence of Odessa. They were not at all standardized and only lightly armed but the number made suggests that they were atleast somewhat useful.
