• Seriously this is just so unserious it isn’t even funny. This is something nobody needs to die from and the fix for it is so simple and used to be such a no-brainer. Why do these people want to go back to the days of death from curable disease.

The anti-vax stuff is just so depressing.

I never heard of that so I googled. It sounds really good.

      Spotted Cow

Every drop of Wisconsin’s original Farmhouse ale is Artisan brewed and bottled by the hard working Employee Owners of New Glarus Brewing Co. right here in little New Glarus, Wisconsin. Spotted Cow adheres to the Reinheitsgebot purity law using only four hand selected all natural ingredients - yeast, hops, water and malted barley. We allow yeast to remain in the bottle to enhance the fullness of flavors, so it is naturally cloudy. Expect this Ale to be fun, fruity and satisfying.

You know you’re in Wisconsin when you see the Spotted Cow.

I live in a different state - and I’m underwhelmed by the local micro breweries. How many more goddamned IPAs does the world need?

      • i used to like hoppy beers. in like 2008. then the number of community microbrews exploded and they all seemed to be in an arms race to have the hoppiest beer ever invented. i was like, “haha cool”. for a little while. 5 years later, some former tech bro moved into my small city to turbo gentrify an area with his brewery and came out with this high ABV, ultra hoppy IPA and that was it. i never wanted to taste an IPA ever again. blech.

but these assholes just kept going until now you can’t go to some microbrew without seeing the billionth Ultra Hop³xicutioner IPA. and it occurred to me they all make an IPA because the ultra bitterness covers up how the beer tastes shit and they don’t know what they’re doing. fucking craft a different beer “brewmaster”

whatever, i don’t even have a dog in the fight anymore. i quit drinking several years ago and quit beer years before that.

          Preach.

i don’t even have a dog in the fight anymore.

I get all my groceries delivered from the same supermarket because it’s cheapest for delivery. I’d drink beer but my lazy ass wants it delivered. And for some reason the supermarket won’t let me buy it anymore. For at least a year every time I try - every time slot on every day there’s a “not available” message. It’s been that long since I had beer at home.

Spotted Cow is a absolute Wisconsin staple and mainstay, it will likely be around longer than even Pabst at this point. Honestly pretty much everything New Glarus Brewing is pretty damn good, and they keep the quality and name recognition by exclusively being sold in Wisconsin, no matter how large they get in the state.
