It can’t be because they refuse to examine material conditions, it’s always because they were either “Holding back too much” or sometimes claiming vague things about the enemy “Cheating” (like the Vietnamese building spike pits being a war crime, but agent orange on entire villages isn’t)
Its funny if you think about it. America propaganda is how we were plucky little underdogs and now British lost the revolution because they didn’t conform to new age of fighting and their arrogance was their undoing.
