Is this why I feel like I have the fucking flu but I’m not running a fever??? Several years ago there were really bad wildfires in California whose smoke swept across the continent and the PM 2.5 spiked in my area and it took me the fuck out. Thought I had COVID or strep throat with how bad my throat hurt. This isn’t as bad but I still feel like shit.
Since many conifers need a certain number of cold hours per winter to survive every warm winter results in more dead trees which become kindling for wildfires. So, good news is eventually it there will be no more forest fires due to there being no forest left
Have you been having warm winters? The winter of 2023/24 was pretty mild but the two since then have been freezing as fuck. We had nearly a month of consistent -30⁰C temps and this year it didnt even stay warm until mid June
This past winter was a pretty classic cold winter like I associate with winter in the 90’s, but the 3 years before that were mild with minimal snow
