Even if it was “just” a fall, he wouldn’t look like that. He didn’t look that healthy when he was up and walking around, he wouldn’t look that healthy after being in a hospital on IVs for weeks, and he certainly wouldn’t look like that after suffering such a traumatic injury that he was laid up like that.

Edit: I just read the statement, and he also had pneumonia? Yeah no he’d look like a corpse if he was laid up for weeks with pneumonia after a fall that necessitated a hospital stay in the first place. He’d be bruised to shit in a way that wouldn’t fade for months if ever at his age, the IV fluids alone would have him looking rough, the antibiotics would have wrecked him, and just laying in a bed for weeks would have been catastrophic because the human body does not like that and it’s even worse at his age.
