Here in Canada, it’s kind of a mishmash, based on how American or British influenced the person’s upbringing was.

Basically the whole commonwealth says barbecue for what USians call a grill, and typically say grill for what USians call a broiler.
Here in Canada, it’s kind of a mishmash, based on how American or British influenced the person’s upbringing was.
