A reference to the US cartoon The Simpsons episode S06E04 where the Simpsons go to Itchy & Scratchy Land where nothing can possiblie go wrong. One of the characters Bart Simpson went to the Itchy & Scratchy Land gift shop where they sell Bort novelty license plates but curiously and quite humorously do not sell Bart novelty license plates, the name of the character in question. Later on in the episode when Bart is escorted in the underground facility of the theme part reminiscent of the Death Star from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, one of the theme park monitors remark on the gift shop running out of Bort novelty license plates, juxtapositioning the audience’s expectation that Bort is an unusual and rare name versus many theme park attendees with Bort as their name buying enough Bort novelty license plates that the gift shop ran out of Bort novelty license plates.
