I’ve thought about this a lot, and I think the age of majority should be 21 years old and the age of consent should be 25 years old.
18 is too young to be legally an “adult”; they’re still in high school most of the time. I think 21 is a better age; they are in their 20s, so not a “teenager” or a “child”. At that age you can sign up for the military, join the police force, or become a firefighter. Handle your own finances, sign a lease, etc.
I think 21 is good for the age of consent as well because if you are adult enough to join the military then you are old enough consent to sex with anyone above the age of 21.

Adulthood for what? Voting? Maybe. Drinking? No legal age at all, IMHO.
To have sex? No real minimum age, but a delta age between the two participants of no more than 2 years until 16yo, 3 until 20yo. After 20yo, whatever ring your bell.

What is your obsession with people fucking people, legally, as it stands, who are much older? It seems to me every other of your shower thoughts revolves around that. Who hurt you? Did they fuck a pensioner to cheat on you or something?

Just because you’re a 25 year old virgin does not mean everyone should be one.
I would raise the age to get married to at least 40. That would solve lots of broken marriages issues.

You can’t be an adult and simultaneously unable to consent when right of mind. Align both of those and this might make some sense.
I agree with the adult at 21. If we’re going to make that the arbitrary age in which all adult restrictions are lifted, then why say it 3 years before?
The age of consent thing is nonsense. Again, I might understand making it 21 to match everything else, but any later than that doesn’t make sense.
