I filed 2 weeks of unemployment certifications after doing work search bullshit after 2 weeks where I didn’t do work search bullshit and I only got paid for one with no explanation.
It turns out they just ignore the two weeks with no work search and consider the first week where I had a work search history “my wAiTiNg WeEk” (the week where you don’t get paid because go fuck yourself)

there shouldn’t be a fucking “waiting week” of non- payment and I wish those responsible would die, preferably by having their intestines drawn out their assholes

there’s literally no indication of any kind whatsoever that any of this would work like this, the weeks without work search “not counting” for that bullshit
very cool being robbed of 450 dollars instead if “just” 150 no it’s not like i need that money or anything
the system is meant to punish the unemployed, pure and simple
the original purpose being to make sure that people who do have jobs will put up with any abuses because being unemployed is so difficult…
but i get the feeling that simple love of the game has taken over as the primary motivation for hurting poor people
