I am a man of constant sorrow (I am not currently watching Oh Brother Where Art Thou)
that song fucking rocks and so does the movie
Yes good movie a solid Coen Bros. flick.
I love the depiction of the sirens (
) and the subsequent frog transformationJohn Goodman is also incredible in it, his chemistry with clooney is off the charts
Oh Brother, Where Art Thou is such a good flick. Glad you all enjoyed it too!!!
Definitely one of my favorites. The soundtrack is just fantastic too
He got turned into a… horny toad
Ok Homer just breathe from this real quick. Yeah it’s gonna be pretty harsh but just let the coughing happen
None of your hypothetical cloned/time travelled/resurrected historical figures will escape the live resin pen
Anyone time travelling would immediately get hooked on drugs
Yes because of me specifically.
I’m always watching
I hate cows almost as much as I hate coppers
Aw, George, not the livestock.
I watched it and idk if you have to be a usaian to enjoy it but it just didn’t click with me.
It felt like it dropped all the emotion and pathos from the Odyssey in favour of Americana and jokes. It’s a weird slideshow of nonsense that’s not objectionable but doesn’t really compare favourably to the inspiration.
felt the same way about Ulysses tbh (except i haven’t read Ulysses)
not reading ulysses
