A friend of mine suggested they play chicken and see how fast it takes them to get reported to HR if they start clown emoji reacting to every bad take their chud co-worker posts in their work group chat. They haven’t done it yet, but I’m waiting for the day.
They’re kind of weird. There’s chats to actually get work done, sub-groups and committees, etc. But a lot of office jobs have “fun” groups also for people to talk about books they’re reading, movies, etc. And someone always overshares their usually bad opinions and makes it uncomfortable.
I actually have fun with 1 co-worker. He is older but a green-socdem type with decent geopolitical takes for a boomer. I could send him this and I think he would get it. (mostly)
just chuck it into the work chat like a grenade and then immediately log off for the day
Might as well hand in my resignation with it…might be worth it though all things considered

See my work has no hr of any kind, so our group chat is just kinda the wild west.
