      I enjoyed the first 2 seasons because it had a clear clown-like quality where everyone was supposed to be ignorant, annoying, and odd. But I enjoyed it as a hellish version of office work when your work feels useless. In bullshit jobs, I have experienced and hated small doses of the stuff that they took really far with over the top clown acting

      But I agree, libs really love it after those seasons because they turn the first 2 into ‘character development,’ never change the underlying hellish aspects, but then try to make everyone loveable, special heros of some kind. So I have only seen sporadic episodes that (lib) friends were watching otherwise. It turned from cringe that you could hate to cringe you were supposed to feel bad for and i hated that

        I found it odd that the Office kept trying to make me like Jim and Pam, considering:

        1. They’re the two most boring characters in the show.

        2. Jim is a huge asshole.
