People who says this shit are just wrong. They weren’t upset about him being older than their civilization, they were horrified that a civilization would do something so horrific to their own warriors.
That’s definitely the good way to have the Tau be awed by the Imperium, by it’s sheer size and barbarism
Walked into a store that sold warhammer for the first time in like a decade because an old buddy of mine wants to play Kill Team. I was immediately reminded that I hate the average warhammer player.
Peak Games Workshop Tau writing is the Tau having a panic attack and losing faith in the Greater Good at the military superiority of the dead Space Marine they easily killed with railguns
Not to say that they should never take L’s obviously but stop glazing Space Marines so much lmao
T’au are objectively good guys, they actually make use of diplomacy and aren’t genocidal like every other faction in 40k.
The only problem is they suffer from “villian who is right but kicks babies because EVIL” writing. That, or they’re made to look dumb and naive for not using violence as the first, last, and only resort (I believe there was a lore snippet where they try to engage in diplomacy with Tyranids).
