Except getting a random message to the tune of “Hey, I don’t know you and you probably don’t know me but I’m kinda lonely right now and just want to chat” usually ends with something like “I’m actually about to start my job on this totally legit cam site.” Maybe there can be a volunteer service?

Fr though, go seek out a social hobby. I met my best friends looking for a d&d group over the pandemic. I build most of my social life through being involved in an alternative lifestyle scene. Look for something that will put you in a position where you have to talk to new people. Communities often are happy to have new people
