There are like two verses saying don’t be gay but hundreds of verses saying rich people are all going to hell. I fucking hate it. Like is it really so much to ask for some consistency? I’ve literally never seen or heard of a Christian group protesting outside of a tattoo parlor, Leviticus 19:28 “Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord."
And I’ve never seen Christians protest outside of a red lobster, Leviticus 11:10 “and all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you” And yet despite those things being very clear in their book they’d rather focus on queer people simply existing.
Oh but what a coincidence, reactionary Christians always wanna use their book to enforce the same white supremacist patriarchal stuff they were going to do anyway but ignoring all the inconvient stuff?
The lack of consistency between christians actions and the book they claim to believe in is rly the best demonstration of how ideas dont control the world. Exodus 20:25-26 is also fun

Yes, and all of that is proof that a church that purports to be Christian disregards the teachings of their own Christ (which is many these days). It is also the highest form of blasphemy.
